Barakah Welfare Organisation has been established by a group of friends, who have been regularly raising funds within the friendship group to help the poor and needy in Bangladesh.

Islam teaches us that when we give in charity with sincere intention, Allah (SWT) multiplies the reward and gives it back to us in this world and in the hereafter. The wealth
that we spend and use has been given to us by Allah as a blessing, by giving charity, Allah will purify our souls and our wealth but only a few realise the benefits of giving charity.
The Prophet Mohammed (SAW) said that: “Charity does not decrease wealth” Our prophet taught us that “The best amongst you are those who bring greatest benefits to others” This encourages us to help, feed and support the poor, the needy and the disabled.
Our prophet (SAW) said that “The Upper hand is better than the lower hand. As the upper hand is the charitable hand and the lower hand is the one who receives help.
This led the group of friends wanting to do more to help those that are more unfortunate than us.
Therefore, we have decided to set up this charity, so that we can extend our help to as many people as possible. This will help the poor and the needy people. Also Allah will bless us in this world and akhirah as the founders of this charity will give their time and effort voluntarily as 100% of the funds raised will be used for charity purpose only.

To enable access to education, healthcare services, and water supplies across Bangladesh, empowering underprivileged communities for a better future.
“Whoever relieves his brother of a hardship of this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship of the day of Judgement. And whoever makes things easy for a person in difficulty, Allah will ease for him in this world and the akhirah. Allah is forever aiding a slave so long as he is in the aid of his brother.”
The Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) said may Allah (SWT) bestow his kindness upon you, and reward you for helping to relieve the hardship of our brothers and sisters.
